What to look at in pants & shorts photos

  • Waistband and closure: button, zipper teeth, drawcord tips and how the fly sits when the garment is laid flat.
  • Print or pattern placement: whether a repeated pattern lines up across the seams and pockets.
  • Hems and stitching: even topstitching, no loose threads, consistent leg length in a flat-lay.
  • Labels you can actually read: care tag and size tag text, not a guess from a blurry corner.
